Look at the expression on the faces of these women. How many of them you think volunteered to sit through this bullshit? and trust me everyone in there knows this guy is an ahole. Look at the body language not one of them believes Nandlall and none of them want to be in the same room with this vagabond.

He probably wants to procure all of them for his bald head uncle.

I wish to repeat that in my lifetime, I have followed the news on successive attorneys-general of Guyana: Dr Fenton Ramsahoye, Shridath Ramphal, Dr Mohammed Shahabuddin, Bernard De Santos, Doodnauth Singh, Charles Ramson Jr, and now Anil Nandlall. In my humble opinion, Mr Nandlall has brought disrepute and dishonour to the traditionally respected Attorney General's office.

If and when someone writes the history of that important office, and someone should, I am certain Mr Nandlall would get the lowest rating relative to his predecessors.

Not to make matters light, some commenter in a Guyana newspaper yesterday wrote about a scuffle that broke out near the bar at Everest Cricket Club between Ramson and Nandlall. Anyone heard about that incident? Details?

A few years ago I read Mr. Shahabuddin's Constitutional Development in Guyana 1621-1978.  The legal history of the early years of the colony of Guiana was well researched.

These women are all either lawyers or they know the law. That is why they are in the picture.  If he had done that then you can bet they would have taken him to court a long time ago.  You guys are punching below the belt.

What does their legal mind have to do with him being a cad? And do lawyers have less of an aptitude for moral indignation than reporters? If we see a man in his natural state why would he be different in any other state. The ground of one private reality facilitates and organizes this public reality.

His statements on that tape have clearly without an ounce of doubt established that.

They had a choice to leave if they did not want to listen. Remember now chat-2, Guyana became a democracy in 1992.

Guyana is not a democracy because you or the PPP say its a democracy.

Free and fair elections alone is not the singular indicator that defines a democracy.

Maybe this can enlighten you a bit.

The Pillars of Democracy

There are four main pillars for our Grade 6 study of
democracy. They are in place to ensure the rights and
freedoms of all people in Canadian society.

Justice - Attempts to ensure that all people are protected
and treated fairly and equally according to Canadian law.

Equity - This assumes the equality of opportunity, not the
equality of result. Democracy hopes that every man,
woman and child are given the same opportunity to
succeed and to be what they want to be and do what they
want to do.

Freedoms - Freedoms include the rights to religion,
speech, travel, and others.

Representation - All citizens have the opportunity to
choose those that represent them in the government.

Why is he shallow and corrupted when he speaks of something known to all and commented on by scholars all over the planet who writes on democracy? It is amazing how you folks, at this time of your life, when the rules of  inquiry and understanding should be well honed each of you so readily concedes to the received wisdom of those corrupt fellows in freedom house. There is not one scholar among them.

It is not merely taking sides. It is taking sides that is honest and if one takes sides then by default one as assimilated what that side represents and can articulate it in cogent. Your conclusion as to objectivity is not the same as mine. I defended the PPP steadfastly here for long time until the obviousness of their corrupt practices could not be ignored.
