Some European countries have taken action on supermarket food waste, but Canada doesn't even have a food waste policy. If other countries can do it, why can’t we?

Stabroek market throw away lots of fruits every day. The German soft drinks company Fanta in its early days in the 1930s use to go to German markets and collect fruit waste and extract the taste from the fruit waste and mix the fruit taste into their soft drinks. I always wondered if that can be done with the fruit waste from Guyana markets.
