was never going to succeed. He had great ideas but his folly was to fall for the loans trap.

The PPP government after much debt forgiveness went and handed to country right back, to the ones who f…ed it up in the first place, by reckless borrowing and wide scale thieving. Guyana progressed on the backs of future generations thanks to the PPP under Jagdeo and Ramoutar.  For all of you that think borrowing from the IMF, World Bank, etc. will move Guyana ahead, think again. The piper will eventually have to be a paid.  

Guyana is doomed and will remain so for the next 100 years. Oil will not save Guyana under this government or any other government. All it will do is widen the wealth and income gap between the corrupt small ruling class and the poor, working and middle class.

There are forces at play, bigger than most people will ever understand.
