IVAN MENDEL, Mexico's Ambassador,

handed me a cup on which the logo

for Guyana's 50th independence anniversary is inscribed.

The logo carries the head of a jaguar.

 

The cup was made by Mexico

which promised to send cultural troupes to Guyana
