Obama is doing damn well against ISIS. He has degraded their efficacy to the point they cannot pay their fighters, are barely holding on to ground and their capital is presently under siege. He lost one soldier to date and is not spending a billion a month

One reason our allies were able to make headway is because the Russians has been obliterating them in Syria causing them to be in disarray.  Had the Russians not moved, Obama would be twiddling his thumb calling them the JV squad!!  I do agree, he followed the Russian lead and up the US game in Iraq!

All presidents sign executive orders and Obama has the lowest average of executive orders per year among modern day presidents.

Executive Orders were/are signed by all Presidents.

Of note, you will find that President Barack Obama has signed far less Executive Orders than the other presidents.

The fact that the people voted Obama in TWICE, and rejected the GOP candidate shows that Obama had a mandate to do as he did.

The russians bombed mainly Kurds and anti Assad forces. They did not help at Sinjar, Sirte, Mosul, Kobane and now Raqqa is under siege. ISIS  now relies of scare tactics by sending messages for fighter to stay in their home country and fight for their cause. They are on their way out.

Their income earning assets are reduced and they have suffered and continue to suffer massive losses of low level personnel and leadership. The Russians had nothing to do with this and Obama everything. He has his drones and now a carrier in the Mediterranean bombing them to the dirt. They already lost some 60 percent of their territory. It is somewhat ignorant if not stupid that you say Obama is twiddling his thumb.

I guess Trump will get a bull horn and yell "Islamic terrorist", "Islamic terrorist", "Islamic terrorist", and like Joshua around Jericho, all ISIS fighters will crumble. Right now his donors are drying up, he has no elections infrastructure hence no data to run a campaign and there is massive dissension in the Republican ranks. His disapproval rate has skyrocketed from 55 percent to 75 percent with 55 percent of American voters claiming they are in the never trump camp.
