I am not making judgement cause I don't know he did/did not. However, I agree with you, IF he is found Guilty, throw the Book at him!!! 

The legal system should let the parents know that they(parents) have no decision in the matter. Further interference from the parents should result in legal action against them.

You would be surprised to learn how many cases jackets are missing, cases are thrown out due to the absence of the prosecutors and key witnesses are groomed to change important pieces of their testimony; then there are the long delays to deny due process.  There will be evidence to show that the young underage Amerindian girl was already sexually active and not a reliable key witness.
