Opener Alex Dazzel slammed a fine century to hand Meten-Meer-Zorg (MMZ) Primary a 113-run victory over Hague Primary when the Guyana Cricket Board Scotiabank Kiddy cricket competition continued recently.
Playing at Zeeburg, West Coast Demerara, Dazzel struck five fours and 10 sixes in a scoring 108 as Meten-Meer-Zorg Primary posted 205-3 off their allotted 14 overs, taking first strike. Aktar Azeez and Udish Sitaram contributed 30 and 23 respectively. Hague Primary responded with 92 all out in 13.5 overs. Daniel Singh made 19 and Sattie Hamilton 13; Christino Sabitri claimed 3-2.
Uitvlugt Primary beat Stewartville Primary by eight wickets. Stewartville Primary managed 78 -9 batting first. Keshawn Jermain made 28; Azid Khadir took two wickets. Uitvlugt Primary responded with 81-5 in eight overs. Atiba Harding made 14 and Shaid Breshaspat 13.
Leonora Primary rattled up 125-12, taking first knock against Windsor Forest. Anthony Narine slammed 42; Niomi Rodrigues took two wickets. Windsor Forest were limited to 104-8 in reply. Julius Williams got 19.
Leonora Primary batted first and scored 165-9 versus Meten-Meer-Zorg Primary. Anthony Narine struck 61 and Sachin Singh 29; Kelvin Raymond had two wickets. Met-en-Meer Zorg Primary responded with 148-8. Aktar Ameer stroked 45 and Alex Dazzel 36. Aditya Jetto captured 2-7.
At GNIC SC, Smith’s Memorial got to 94-10 with Jeremiah John scoring 51. St. Sidwell’s Primary replied with 23 all out in 10 overs. Brian Browne, Fiona Gibbs and Ron Fung had two scalps apiece.
St. Ambrose Primary made 60 all out in 12 overs, taking first knock. P. Abai, R. Mustahpa and S. Rampersaud claimed two wickets each. School of The Nations replied with 61-3 in 10 overs. T. Bratwaite made 25.
At Lusignan, East Coast Demerara, Enmore Hope batted first and scored 94 all out in 11.4 overs against Cloonbrook. Jelani Adams struck 55 and Maverick Hangover 16; Alicia Harris claimed two wickets. Cloonbrook responded with 90-9. Aaron Bhagwandin made 22 while Vikash Wilkinson, Matthew Balkissoon and Marlon Williams got 16 each and Matthias Wilkinson 15. Tusha Mahadeo and Nekaicia Glasgow had two wickets each.
In other fixtures, Lusignan Primary took first strike and made 85-6. Yugraj Rambarran made 33; Torana Seepersaud and Johnathan Ramesar claimed two wickets each. Valmik Vidyala Primary responded with 70-9. Travis Jagnandan 19, Vedika Mohamed 16 and Wirel Ramrattan 13 were the principal batters.
At Ogle, Chateau Margot Primary managed 86-11 in 14 overs. James Sookdeo made 28, Risel Slowe 20 and Samuel Harding 18; Ashanti Paul had 3-18 and Mario Charles 2-1. Plaisance Primary were bowled out for 45 in 9.3 overs. Fami Edwards made 12 as Harding picked up 2-6.
Montrose Primary took first strike and were limited for 35-13. Chris Ramkishun made 19; Simeera Singh, Simran Persaud and Jairam Persaud took two wickets each. Mon Repo replied with 36 without lost in 2.2 overs. Mario Beck got 26 and Shane Persaud 10.
BV Quamina Primary took first turn at the crease and got to 102-3. Anthony Crandon stroked 62, Malachi Blackman made 22 and Precious Gulliver 18; Kevin Pompey took two wicekets. Friendship Primary were restricted for 69-8 in reply. Tyron Glasgow made 22 not out and Kemo Prince 21. Gulliver picked up three wickets.
Enmore Hope Primary batted first and posted 159-2. Deshawn Kaladin slammed 81 while Balkishun Matthew made 43 and Vikash Wilkinson 27. Enterprise Primary replied with 157-5. Matthew Crawford scored 70 and Joel Lalman 34.
