Continuous registration cycle starts today

The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) today commenced the conduct of the 4th cycle of continuous registration. This exercise is set to conclude on May 18, 2013.
A release from the Commission stated that anyone who will be 14 years or older by June 30, and is a Guyanese citizen by birth, descent, naturalisation, or is a citizen from a Commonwealth country living in Guyana for one year or more, is eligible for registration during this exercise.
Persons eligible for registration are required to visit the Registration Office that isresponsible for their respective areas of residence.
