The matter into the application filed by PPP MP, Zulifkar Mohamed was given another date for the hearing of legal arguments by the Chief Justice.

Today, the Chief Justice, gave the date for legal submission on 5th January 2018, both parties will return for clarifications on the matter and possible judgment.

The People’s Progressive Party through MP, Zulfikar Mustapha, had filed an injunction in the High Court to rescind the appointment of Justice Patterson as head of Gecom on the grounds of unconstitutionality.

This seems like protesters getting ready to protest without a verdict from the coalition side. This tells me things are not looking for Granger's appointment.

Here I can see someone holding up a sign.

Paid judges on the outside waiting to tell the real judge that Granger was right to appoint Paterson.

Only until Granger suspends the Constitution and install military rule.

And of course when Jagdeo sent his phantom goons and slaughtered people at the KN because he didn't like what they wrote folks like you jumped for joy.  He is called a "savior of Indians" even as he used black criminals in para militia units.

If the PPP keeps Jagdeo they send the message that they are a "coolie people party" as Rohee described, and that they have no interest in broadening their base.

Jagdeo to most blacks is as demonic as Burnham was to most Indians.  Now Indians can scream otherwise and boast that they are so superior to blacks that they can tell blacks what it was to be black under Jagdeo.

The PNC is continuing with its tactics of using its supporters to try influence and intimidate the Chief Justice and the judicial system. Why else would they be there? The dunce Basil and his team needs all the edge they can get in this matter. This is the same Basil who was talking to then commissioner of police, now Minister, about the shooting and disturbance at Agricola and putting drugs in a lady's luggage to get her into trouble.

AFC leaders in the coalition government are behaving and doing things no different from the stooges like Cammie Ramsaroop and Chandisingh from the Burnham era. People expected them to play an active role in decision-making but it turned out to be a government completely dominated by the racist and dictatorial Burnhamites.  Berbicians who voted AFC are regretful.

Pictures were right there in the papers and the issue was raised on GNI.  Of course racists like you champion this bigotry and then pretend that it didn't happen so you can peddle your poisonous "blackman bad, Indian good....so blackman have to apologie" dogma.

Until you learn to admit that certain racists elements within the PPP play as much of a role as do certain PNC elements in fostering racial animosity and fear Guyana will remain in the quagmire that has made it the laughing stock of the English speaking Caribbean.

Jagdeo was infamous in tampering with the courts in his day.  G/T was almost like Medellin and Cali in how politically connected drug lords were able to bully and intimidate.

Given that the PPP took back the Indo AFC vote in 2015 and most of the coalition votes came from PNC strongholds how many regret their votes.

In Region 6 APNU/AFC support did NOT increase from 2011.  When one factors in the tremendous increase in turnout in PNC strongholds throughout the nation clearly this meant that the Nagamootoo vote f 2011 ran back to the PPP in 2015.  And you know this fully well.

Absolute nonsense!  The AFC received most of their votes from the Indians in 2011 and held on to those votes in 2015. The results of the 2011 and 2015 was slightly different in terms of number of votes received by the parties.

The APNU/AFC totals did NOT increase in region 6.  30% of the population in region 6 are black or mixed, so why would you not expect that the turnout to increase to the degree that it did elsewhere.

In Region 6 in 2011 the PPP received 32k votes, increasing by 8k to 40k. APNU/AFC combined received 22k in both years.

In region 10 the PPP received 3k votes in both years and APNU/AFC saw their votes increase from 12k to 17k.

In Region 4 the PPP received 61k votes in 2011 increasing to 70k in 2015.  The APNU/AFC saw their votes increase from 96k votes to 114k votes.

The only way that APNU/AFC would have received the same numbers of votes in Region 6 in 2015 as it did in 2011 is if there was a decline in the Indian vote.  The PPP saw their voter turnout increase in that region.  In other regions APNU/AFC also had voter increases.

Given that 30% of region 6 consists of black/mixed people who traditionally don't support the PPP clearly then votes gained by APNU/AFC from this group's higher turnout were fully offset by Indian votes bleeding to the PPP.

Sorry the AFC was already losing their Indo base in Region 6 BEFORE the election. Jagdeo did a terrific job in screaming that "if de PNC win blackman gun rape your daughters".  He didn't say "blackman", but said police and GDF, but you and I know full well that it is the image of the violent and rapacious black that he wanted to convey to Indians.

From the safety of your distant abode, careful what you wish for, to the people of Guyana.

If you think this the 60's,the casualty will be detrimental on both sides. The country doesn't need a civil war, that's the mindset of cowards, who thinks it's the solution, what is needed is to get rid of corrupted and racist politicians.

A word of caution the East Indian population in Guyana is dwindling, there will be a time when they will not be the majority, currently they are 10% above the Africans in a nation of 750,000,do the math.
