The Coalition government needs to do the only right thing and call early elections and then go forward from there. Their current actions are grossly inconsistent with the demands of the NCV. Maybe they will still prevail. But they have to be willing to let the voters be heard.
The voters were heard..hence PPP out..APNU in and that is where it should be until the proper time when elections are held and not before.
The voters were indeed heard and indeed voted the PPP out.
But before the did so, the APNU and AFC used an article of the constitution to force the PPP out. The PPP accepted their fate and called early elections.
That was the only decent option. Now that the Coalition government is in the same position, why do they refuse to take the only decent option?
Erroneous ,
the Confidence Motion tabled wasn't allowed to be debated , President Ramothar prorogue Parliament, hence he was force to call early elections.
Likewise, the Coalition government allowed the NCV which they lost. By them losing, they are required to have early elections within 90 days. They are being very dishonest with all their shenanigans.
That can be extended, if GECOM can't run the elections between that time frame.
There are big differences between actions taken by the Ramothar gov't and the current Coalition gov't.
Indeed. The Ramotar government never became an illegal government. The Coalition government is on the verge of being so.
I don’t think he wasn’t expecting this responce , interesting to see what he’s gonna say
