Georgetown All stars defeated Blairmont Blazers by six wickets when the teams collided in an U13 30-over fixture on Saturday at DCC.
Batting first, Blairmont Blazers managed 121-8. Shaffie Shakir made 28, Zynol Ramsammy 18, Tomani Caesar and Vickendra Singh 14 each. Daniel Mootoo claimed 3-23 and Inderjeet Nanan 2-21.
Georgetown All stars responded with 122-4 in 23.1 overs. Tallius Lovell made 25 not out while Nanan got 22, Shamar Yearwood 12 and Mootoo 10. Antowne Alexander (Blairmont) and Inderjeet Nanan (Georgetown All stars) were voted the players-of-the-match. The game was sponsored by Well Teen, Rohan Auto Spares, Trophy Stall and Tropical Springs.
