GNDF, GDA President Faye Joseph host massive B/day Domino Competition

In celebration of her birth anniversary, President of the Guyana National Dominoes Federation (GNDF) Faye Joseph, who also holds the top post at the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA), will host a massive competition this Saturday, at Transports Sports Club, Thomas Lands. According to the Organiser Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire, all teams that register before 15:30 hrs will be able to enter the tournament free of cost, while teams that arrive after the deadline will have to pay an entrance fee of $9,000.
Joseph, who has been instrumental in raising the awareness of the game and taking it to a level never seen before will actually be celebrating her birthday today. Among the highlights of her Presidency are the staging of an international competition where teams from Barbados, USA, Puerto Rico and many other Caribbean territories compete, while the movement of the sport on the sports calendar has also been a significant achievement during her tenure at the helm.
