Disappointed. Season 8 is way too mediocre and the ending is definitely not what the first seven seasons was building up to. I don't mind the result but the plot could have been much better.

Unacceptable. Off the top of my head I can come up with a few interesting alternatives.

I feel robbed....they shortchanged the past seasons. This leaves complete sense of unease, being cheated and the illogic of it all given RR Martin's pedantic commitment to symbolism and structure. This is like being kicked out of the house because you finished high school.

For them to be as good as the past seasons, you would need at least 2 more seasons to wrap up all the loose ends

I can come up with a better scenario that solves all the mysteries and provide a satisfactory ending in a couple of episodes. They rushed it.

If you remember, Ned Stark took six months to travel from Winterfell to Kings landing. The time contractions cannot be explained. The armies had to walk from Winter fell as all could not come by ship. Arya and the Hound and Jamie rode that distance in a few days!

At the very least oneadem BIG BUBBY wenches could have had a wardrobe malfunction where those beautiful round puppies would have ""ahem"" popped out.
