The Chief Executive Officer of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, Michael Khan (right) assisting Public Health Minister Dr. George Norton in responding to questions by the opposition during the National Assembly's consideration of the 2015 Budget Estimates.

Days after the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, Michael Khan sat next to Public Health Minister, Dr. George Norton and helped him to defend budgeted expenditures; he has been sent on leave.
Norton confirmed that Khan was ordered to proceed on 48 days leave on the advice of an auditor.
Asked if discrepancies were found or Khan was merely asked to proceed on leave procedurally while the audit was being conducted into the procurement and storage of medication and other medical supplies, the Public Health Minister only said “it warrant him being sent on leave.” T

Khan refused t comment, when contacted.
Demerara Waves Online News was told that the CEO could be fired only by the GPHC’s Board of Directors and that he has to be given three months notice or payment of all his benefits.
It was on August 26, 2015 that Khan assisted Norton in responding to questions from the opposition People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPPC) in the National Assembly’s Chamber about monies that have been allocated in the 2015 National Budget.
Back in November, 2013 Khan was asked to take 60 days accumulated leave by then Chairman of the GPHC’s Board, Nirmal Rekha but in less than one week he was back on the job after then Public Service Minister and Acting Health Minister Dr. Jennifer Westford  found that a protest letter that he had dispatched to her had merits.
At that time, Westford had said that only the Board had the authority to send the Chief Executive Officer on administrative  leave to facilitate any investigation at that health care institution.

This is very, very troubling. Another Indo is being victimized.

I call on all AFC members including Moses to speak out against this policy of ethnic cleansing.

PNC is destroying Guyana.

I predicted that last June. Indos will be joining their families in north America and Guyana will be lost in the wilderness.

They say is accumulated leave, but there is reason to believe that he is a goner.

More Indos have fled Guyana during the 23 years of reign of terror of the PPP cartel than at any other time in the history of Guyana.

Mr.T

Why are you fellas trying to fan the flames and crying this shit about Indos being victimized?

Read please.

So he has been under suspicion under different governments and was last rescued by a person who herself is subject of legal proceedings. So how come the PPP shouting unfairness for an Indo but not for a black woman?

Riffraff said that GH is nasty and a death trap, and yet you think that its CEO must remain....only because he is an Indian.

Danyael was so right about the mentality of a large part of the Indian community.  The failure of most Indians to discuss it upfront, just confirmed that it isn't limited to the mere few like cobra, yuji, rama, baseman, or seignet.

The OLD PPP chant was "ahbe pan tap, blackman time done".

The new PPP chant is "blackman lazy and gun kill ahbe".

Because the black PPP were never considered to be true PPP members, but mere tokens. Roger Luncheon confirmed this when he screamed that the PPP is allowing the PNC to scapegoat black PPP officials, while it only screams concerns for the Indian ones.

I wonder how long before Africo Selman realizes that she made a huge mistake.  Elizabeth Harper did, and is long gone from the PPP.

So no more PPP than, as they are the "coolie party", and only care about scaring Indos about "BLACKMAN".  If they have left Guyana then the PPP gets no votes.

wonderful news! the list of enablers is long, with many, many important under deep deep cover

the unprecedented, monstrous and barefaced drug procurement fraud is the early foundation upon which de rat built up his financial muscles to overwhelm and dominate the weak and greedy in the PPP leadership

this should land babby in jail if there is any justice  . . . jagdeo will remain free because of presidential immunity
