Guyana is known for racism, Jim Jones, a black Rabbi wanted by McDonald's Restaurants and Burnham (the world's richest black man who never owned a house or a car) and also known as a small poor country in Africa.

British Guiana is known for BG Plantain (It was so good that Eric Williams banned it from Trinidad out of spite and the Mighty Sparrow sang a song about it. British Guiana was also known around the world as a good developing country that was the first country in South America to have Coca-Cola.

Take your pick of which one is better.  Prashad says to bring back our Queen as Head of State.

D_G, are you sure that Granger bowing posture is to get recognition, or it is a common gesture to pay respect to her Majesty the Queen? Obama did the same to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Was he looking for recognition, too?

Maybe you would, many West Indians don't feel the need to bow to former colony mistress who raped the colonies and benefited from slavery and indenture ship.
