When Guyanese President David Arthur Granger addressed that august body at the United Nations a few days ago, he donned an outfit that made him look like an Africanized Dictator. Also, his outfit looked somewhat like Korean Leader Mr. Kim Jung Yun. Fidel Castro during his closing days shrugged his military fatigues for a business suit complemented with a tie. Our recent former Guyanese Presidents dressed appropriately for the occasion, at the UN. It is time that Mr. Granger take a fresh look at his attires and dress appropriately for such an important occasion. Granger needs a wardrobe makeover. Please represent our nation in a more modern way.

Agree!
He had his tail exposed and did he BRAY frequently????
The text and subtext of President Granger's UN speech make up the purpose of his appearance there. He did not attend a fashion show. His intended audience that included Venezuela's Maduro focused on his message, not his outfit. Let's pay attention to substance, not to form.

The only person braying is you!
I don't give a damn on how Anti-koolie race hate looks.

I agree. Your observation is the same as mine. While I don't believe that his attire is of any importance, his message is what people should focus on. That said, Granger always wants to look and feel like a military man as opposed to a civilian ruler of Guyana. Let's rewind all public ceremonies and observe the facts from two years ago. Don't take my word for it.

Granger wore a dark suit with a dark formal shirt buttoned tightly at the neck in the style that does not require a tie
In what sick mind is that African much less dictator-like?
Is Narendra Modi sporting the style of an "Africanized Dictator" too?
People like you would racialize sand

When has Granger worn military garb in public since he became president of Guyana?
Is this thread jokey make believe or fake news?
Granger is poised to become a dictator worse than his idol Burnham.
He is dressed like a military dictator, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a duck.

What an asinine comment. Isn't what he wore called a Nehru collar? Are you saying that military dictators wear Nehru collars?

Granger doesn't have to wear military garbs to be a military leader. He does wear his military medals on civil occasions. He did honour military medals to Ramjattan and Nagamootoo. And, he has been a military man all his life, It's obvious that he will think like a military man. All military rulers around the world rule with an iron fist. I called it a dictatorship.
