I would bet that at least one of the perpetrators was recently pardoned by Granger.

Or they could be part of the new recruit that was just deported to Guyana, remember they come Qualified and Certified USA. The same old story, Police loaning guns to the criminals then get a "Kick Back" after the crime. Please don't blame the Minister Rumjaat, he is busy working as Santa at Bookers Stores.

Rumjaat has become, in my opinion, the most barefaced minister in the coalition.  He tells one lie after the other.

It's useless to beat dead horses. I just finished reading the news out of Guyana, and I am disgusted by the crime headlines. Somebody needs to do something to rescue the day.

Of course all was at peace in 2014.  In fact I heard that folks used to put US$ 100,000 in the street over night, and return next day and it was all there. Women used to walk around with jewelry worth thousands of dollars (US) at 4 AM and all people did was wish them good night.

Yeah right.

You all are really something else. When crime was high under the PPP you all screamed that the government wasn't to be held responsible.

Yet you now sing a different tune.

BTW even in heaven a man with millions of dollars in his house would get robbed. Like he never heard of banks and ATMs?  Why have more cash on hand than you need?

Seems like a modern day Robin Hood has emerged. How can a police post with two cops take on 14 armed bandits? BTW, who had the guts to make the count?

The Springlands police station is less than a mile away. Maybe the police are collecting their share of the loot. Who knows, they might have planned this to collect some cash for Christmas shopping. Spread the holiday cheer PNC!!!
