GT Mosquito:
This is confusing. A few days ago GINA released a list of the 15 “Cabinet Ministers” which would indicate that the split between the AFC and APNU is indeed 40/60 or six and nine Cabinet posts (if you don’t include Granger), thus complying with the Cummingsburg Accord. Great!
But then we see a photo in today’s KN with at least Amna Ally, Dawn Hastings, Jaipaul Sharma and other ministers at the inaugural Cabinet meeting when they are not on that list. Or are they just there for the first? Please explain. Also if Moses Nagamootoo is supposed to chair Cabinet meetings why is he sitting like some secretary next to Granger rather than behind the desk? At best this is bad optics. But it was inevitable that the AFC would be out thought by Granger who was once VP of the Guyana Chess Association and is now ten moves ahead of them.
