More complaints of poor internet service

Dear Editor,
I thought that the community  where I live on the East Coast is the only area in Guyana where the internet  service provided by Guyana Telephone and Telegraph is very, very poor despite we pay handsomely and faithfully monthly for this service. The speed is like cockroach crawling on a very thick molasses spread. We must also state here categorically that GT& T should refund all its customers that were poorly provided with this sloppy service. The Guyanese word for this is robbing “poor people” or the rich sucking the blood of the poor. We Guyanese  deserved better!
Don’t you think so editor?………………………………………………….. there is  poor Internet service provided by GTT at Low Lands/Hope. It has been over a month now that the service provided is very poor. We suggest that a public enquiry be set up by the authorities to look at this matter. GTT is a wealthy company and is providing people in this country with poor internet services. Customers cannot upload emails, whatsapp and access Facebook. This kind of service is greatly affecting the business community and students. The customers of Low Lands/Hope are very displeased with GTT. Customers need to get their money’s worth of service.

It was implemented by the PPP. There ain't enough latrine paper to clean up the mess left behind by the PPP. So some things will have to wait. Internet access is not a priority for the country at large. People have bigger worries than looking at porn.

When the monopoly is broken and other providers come on stream and give better service, how many consumers does GT&T expect to  remain loyal with the quality of their internet service??????
