1) number crimes vs. number of arrests made

2) Number of convictions vs. Number of Arrests

When we look at the crime picture using these statistics we can quickly and accurately sum up our thoughts about how well the police and courts are doing in fighting crime. 

People were not satisfied with the job the PPP was doing fighting crime.  Now, people are even more disappointed with the coalition gov't. since crime has gotten worse.
