We can argue on the point that guns don't kill. In a court of law in the United States, anything can be used as a weapon, depending on your intention of using them. If you hit a person with a squash and caused injury to that person, the squash becomes a weapon. This is a very delicate argument between people and weapons and who/what is to blame.
