A Utah mom accused of tossing her newborn baby in the trash told reporters as she bailed out of jail that she didn’t know she was pregnant and that she was sorry for what happened.

The tiny baby girl survived and is in state custody after she was found crying Aug. 26 in a trash can outside a home in Kearns, a Salt Lake City suburb. The child’s mother, 23-year-old Alicia Marie Englert, faces attempted murder charges, but was allowed to post $25,000 bond Monday on the condition that “she doesn’t get pregnant again,”

Which is worst? 48 months in jail, or never to get a child for the rest of your life?

What would you rather, 48 months in jail for illegal drugs, or never to have a child for lifetime for attempted murder?

Read what you wrote: Guyana Law vs American law on pregnant woman.

It is not what I want. She was granted bail on the condition she does not get pregnant or to jail she would go since she is facing attempted murder. Under no circumstance can the government force her to be sterilized. You need to re read the text.

Marie Englert, faces attempted murder charges, but was allowed to post $25,000 bond Monday on the condition that “she doesn’t get pregnant again,”

This is the condition she agrees to for $25,000 bond. If she didn't agree to the condition, she would definitely face jail time.

Your words "never to have a child for lifetime for attempted murder"....no such condition exist. She is on bail with a precondition of not getting pregnant!
