Jamaica Airline passengers are stranded in Guyana right now. Passengers can't get through with anyone and they don't return calls or provide information to the customers. What the hell is going on? People need to get back to their work and business. At lease arrange for an alternative flight to accommodate the stranded passengers.

under PNC we had a very dependable Guyana Airways
under PPP, is one scamp after another
I think it has to do with storms in Jamaica.
Someone I know was scheduled to fly out of Jamaica to Guyana yesterday but the flight was cancelled. Re-scheduled for today, weather permitting.
I apologized to Jamaica Airline for the outburst. I later learned that the weather is the main factor of the cancellation. Safety come first.
Ray, you jump the gun with the PPP.
ACCU WEATHER, AUG 1, minutes ago ----
"Bertha became a tropical storm Thursday night and is the second named tropical system in the 2014 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
While Bertha is expected to remain a relatively weak tropical system, the strength of Bertha will fluctuate. Regardless of intensity, locally heavy rain and gusty winds will occur over part of the Caribbean this weekend."
Bertha's trajectory was in Air Jamaica's flight path to Guyana. Safety first.

Many years ago we were heading to Dominica on a ship after a hurricane swept through the island. There was no light to direct the ship's path to the Island. We had to wait till day break before we get a glimpse of Dominica. What we saw were devastated. That the first time I witness the power of a hurricane.
Another time:
We were passing along St. Vincent when a volcano erupted. The entire Island was covered with black ashes, not viable to the human eye. That was the first time I saw a live volcano erupted. The cream of the story is that I get my first hand experience of nature's events as it unfolds. This I will you is not a pretty scene.

Fly Jam is a one plane airline and its plane broke down again. Bertha is just south of Barbados and moving to the north east. No where near where Fly Jam will fly and Jamaica is well out of the woods.
So if FJ is blaming Bertha, THEY LIE!
