Will do well over the next decade despite any global financial crisis. The only hope is that the revenues are not mismanaged, or let multinational organizations and corporations lock them into unfavorable deals. 

I expect all commodity based economies to perform well over then next decade because there may be a coming USD crisis. Listen Peter Schiff explaining why on CNBC:

It's real fully listening to you dunda heads.  Guyana is stable because of the well capitalized banks and balanced finance sector left by the PPP.  The only risk this far is out of control Govt spending brought on by massive salary increases and Govt expansion since May 2015.

Any financial crisis which affects growth and investments in developed nations will have a big impact on commodity based economies!  Now though, a currency crisis could mean a boom for Gold and that would be good for Guyana!
