Guyana #411: Govt. Information Service among other Guyanese Programs are now available on International Television (ITV).
This is a Guyanese Govt. propaganda network. For example, on yesterday news we saw Minister Bulkan visiting vendors at the Pleasance Market Tarmac. While this all seems nice on TV, I wonder what action the minister would take in order to rectify the concerns of the vendors. A follow up needs to be done on what he had done for the for these small business men and women.
In other news shows, I have seen how progress is made in the area of dentistry, at the Cheddi Jagan Dental Center. Yet still, I have seen lots of Guyanese with bad teeth.
It behooves the Guyanese media houses to start being more objective in delivering what is really taking place in Guyana. For example, the poverty and crime rate coupled with corruption at all levels need to be placed on record and be placed front and center.
