Guyana’s New $50 Note Lacks Creativity And Imitates the Old $1 Note

The Bank of Guyana as part of the 50th Independence Anniversary celebrations launched a fifty dollar ($50) bank note and commemorative coins. Many have noticed that the design for the $50 note looks almost exactly like the old $1 bill.

The $50 note is an excellent idea unlike the $5000 note that went into circulation on December 2015, however the design lacks creativity and uniqueness which is boasted by the new coalition government. The design definitely needed more colors and different symbols that represent Guyana’s resources effectively.
