Thanks to the Almighty that your ppl came out of India where WE would have been enslaved by OUR caste. And the determination of the Blacks in Demerara who gave their lives to secure OUR freedom from Slavery. Thanks to Quamina Gladstone for his efforts.

Were you not enslaved by your White masters too?

Some defenders of slavery love to put forth the argument that Africans sold Africans into slavery. I guess this absolves the White Masters of their wrong doings.

Forbes Burnham looked dapper and Plaisance where one of the oldest railroad in the world was laid looked like a different world from the early/mid 2000s

The look on Burnham's face probably reflects what is going on in his mind. As the PPP party's former deputy leader he probably must be thinking "Look at these fools worshipping people whose ancestors enslave them"

Although I think for international standing and foreign investment we should have kept the name British Guiana, the British Guiana flag, the British Guiana passport and the Queen as head of state with her picture on our currency.

But we should never worship these people. Only use the symbols for international prestigue and ranking.
