The Wapichan people deserve big applause for their inventive spirit and their commitment to protect their environment. And all Guyanese should feel proud and appreciative.

THE DREAMS LOST, ARE THE ONES WE DONT FIGHT FOR.

Similar to our personal rights, we need to demand that we safeguard our  environment for future generations. When government fail us, we need to do it ourselves, like the Wapichan  people.

It is unfortunate that  the US president has decided to reverse the fight for climate change.  We can only hope his decision don't cause much damage to the earth, or we will all suffer the consequences.

I doubt humans can safe-guard the earth. Too many impoverish trying to make a living from the earth. Like the poor, the wealthy raped the earth for its resources, selling it to the Middle-class. Eventually, the energy that drives the earth will be depleted, concentrated into billions of dollars in the 500 or more families bank accounts. The families of the same people who financed Columbus and those who followed him to pillage the New World.

The minerals that permit atoms to interact, concentrated into cell phones, jewelry and all sorts of adornments for the human body.

Trump is correct, why deny Americans when other nations only play lip services. The earth has deterioated too far already, that is the reason the whiteman hightailing to the skies. Dey goan have alot of junk floating around there too.

The Good Lord did say He goan have to create a new heaven and earth.

The low IQ runt is seeking a new cause.  Yesterday is was BJ not doing enough to stop suicides.  Today, it's the anti-Trump band wagon and the environment!

Trump is taking pragmatic approach.  He acknowledges that human actions does influence the environment however, also some changes are part of a natural cycle.  Everyone can agree that cleaner engines, lower toxic fumes, alternate and diverse energy sources will all have to play a role in a healthier environment.  Trump does not want the US to be bound up in international agreements which it cannot flex as needed based on economic imperatives!

The science behind all the dire predictions is questionable and somewhat fuzzy anyway!
