KOmeer, I am confident that the Govt is doing all it can do to HELP.

People have died from a water-borne disease in the aftermath of devastating floods in Guyana. In 2005, a dear friend was a victim of the 33 people who died due to flooding.

Dr. Ramsammy did a great job then to stem the spread of water- borne diseases.

My condolensces to the Guyanese people, for suffering thru the continous rains and flooding; loss of crops and livelyhood.

More good news for the AFC/PNC. The more Guyanese people punish the better for these parties at the polls.

BGurd, I do not believe that. I think ALL Guyanese will hope for the flooding to go away and there be minimal damage to Crops and Property.

Nehru right when we were young we use to love this.  But it is very unsafe.  One time I encountered a large water snake.  Now people can get sick from the water. Maybe it is tme for the capital to be moved to a safer place.

Well said, Luckily I didn't sustain any damages. But I was told that the water level did reach an unexpected high.
