Remember that our brothers &sisters who are living in Guyana has been denied that right to elect thier local officials. One local Gov't election was held in the last 40 years and it seems like the present Gov't has no intention to hold local Gov't elections any time soon.
At least in America we are allowed to vote out the Bums and elect new ones.
