Not sure how they do it. My mother was the same way.

those were the old days, I could understand....but Guyana was supposed to have had a system to make sure that the basics get taught in school by now

I understand. Some parents just don't care. Their priorities are rum and gold jewelry. How can a child concentrate in school when she or she lives in a disruptive home with little or no sleep or goes to school hungry?

not all black people look like bata baigan...

My grandfather(mother's side) was so black, when the sun gets him with the coconut oil on his skin, he had a blue tint reflecting off his arms. They use to say this Madrasi is so black, he turned blue.
