Mom pimped out her own daughter, 11, in Richmond Hill Posted: Tuesday, August 6, 2013 8:56 pm | Updated: 9:26 pm, Wed Aug 7, 2013.
Pauline Hosein, 35, is expected to be sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of first-degree rape and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the office of Queens District Attorney Richard Brown. Her co-defendant, alleged john Gouchand Ramroop, is awaiting trial.
The disgusting case of underage criminal intercourse took place at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and 127th Street in Richmond Hill between 11 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2011 and 3 a.m. the next day, according to the deposition of the investigating detective, Timothy Harrington of the 102nd Precinct.
Ramroop knew how old the girl was when he had sex with her, according to the deposition. Hosein, who according to her attorney was a Florida resident visiting family in Queens at the time, drove her daughter to the liaison. She told the girl to kiss and have sex with Ramroop and “to be careful” around him, Harrington said.
The document did not say whether the sex took place in a building or a vehicle, or whether money changed hands. The child was later brought to an area hospital.
All four of Hosein’s children, the victim, twins who are now 11 and another daughter in her teens, were placed in the custody of their father following the incident, according to her attorney, Paul Martin.
“Ms. Hosein regrets the terrible situation she put her daughter through, and her family, and she’s taken responsibility and is moving forward,” Martin said. “She suffered from abuse from her husband and had children very young, and I think there are a lot of factors that went into her using the judgment that she used. It’s a very sad, unfortunate situation.”
Along with the expected prison time, Hosein will have to provide a DNA sample to the state and serve five years on probation after she is released.
