The Lead Guitarist was famous for the song " How you Panty got wet". Sad indeed.

The band was invited to perform at weddings in the 60s-70s and everyone was amazed at how well they played the instruments and sang Bollywood songs.

I know the guy. My condolences to family .

I danced to that Band from Ogle to Albion. So much till I cant walk home. Oh Mere Sona Re Sona, they played that real well  On night at Lusignan Vidyarthi VS a Band from Albion, was great Fun. My friend wAS THE MANAGER OF THE ALBION BAND .I had stage access, all dem gal was throwing themselves at Uncle nehru.

Really sad, he just came back from Guyana and now this.

Nan is a very close family friend .I ran into him two  weekends ago at the corner of Liberty and Lefferts Blvd. Life is unpredictable.

The Orchestra guys were so handsome and alluring, all the gals used to go wild for them.

Thanks for posting the pics, Dave. This guy was a moviestar in his days and he charmed all the gals. His sis Vado and her husband sang to each other, it was so romantic. 

I remember Vado singing. Once the DAAG Bunham came at a Final singing Competition at Enmore Ground and she was singing there.

Buddy Nehru was very embarrassed that he was seen by so many Indians,   fetching President Burnham  whiskey bag to the Indian singing competition.

Buddy Nehru stop the hating and name calling, you have no one to blame but yourself. You chose to be Burnham bottle boy, daytime at Hope Estate and night time when the Kabaka want to go sport.

Dat is for people like you Chief, SHAMELESS, RUTHLESS and will do anything for fame and wealth. The DAAG has people like you as SLAVES and worst. Some people, especially some Indians really have NO SHAME, HUMANITY and CARE. God should pity people like you.

Bhim Singh lives in Toronto, A few years ago I had him perform at our annual Uitvlugt Lunch at Tropical Nights in Scarborough.
