A 24-year old Guyanese woman, on her way to Antigua  was Wednesday morning arrested with more than four kilogrammes of cocaine in her possession.

She has been identified as Clarabel Thompson.

At the time of her arrest, she was preparing to board a flight to the twin-island Caribbean state of Antigua and Barbuda.

He said the woman has been flying often out of Guyana.

The cocaine, Singh said, was stashed in a suitcase that belonging to the woman.

Guyanese seems hell bent on taking the ultimate risk and jeopardize their life later on. It seem like the get rich quick business is still a better choice than the consequences. But statistically, they make it harder for others and put Guyanese to face tough scrutiny on entering the USA and Canada.
