Regardless of who is in power, corruption will be rife as long as govt is involved in any business, again there is no vested interest of employees to run the industry efficiently. You should know this but you pretend to be naive, all govt run organization are corrupt and wasteful.

And afc/PNC parasites, all you folks were part of the same corruption at one time or another. Note that in any copuntry other thanGuyana the govt wpould have been an APNU/AFC coalition.  Note the UK as an example.  The Tories didnt win enough votes to form the govt and so a coalition with the Liberals was necessary.  If the Liberals went with Labor then the Tories wouldnt have been in power.

There is no way that the AFC was going to be part of a PPP govt.

First of all, the PNC would not have privatized the sugar industry had they achieved power because they would not be able to get a fair price and recoup the ill advised investment the PPP made in Skeldon factory. Granger's utterance were merely election year gimmicks based on attaining 20/20 vision based on hindsight. 

In addition I don't believe that the AFC would have gotten the 7 seats had they indicated that they had the intention of being in bed with the PNC as we see today. 

The AFC/PNC can always use their majority in parliament to revert back to the PNC/UF majority rule back in the 60's. 

PNC+TUF = 1964 to 1992

PNC+AFC = 2012 to ????
