This is plainly the most transparent example of the PPP habit of inefficiency. This is an industry that sink of swim on the merit of management. It has a subsidized market with ever present demand and targeted out puts to meet those demands.

In an act of monumental blunder they closed operating plants before their planned new one came on line.  located the new one on the periphery of the area of service ( logistically stupid) neglected to fill in the necessary paper work to receive their subsidies and the result is what we have.

Even if the plant was not a white elephant it was doomed to fail. Burdened my an incompetent board populated by friends and family, obstinacy to seek competent advice on diversification of products offered, and negligence in seeking after the lives of 20 thousand people they let a viable enterprise die.  This is what they are doing to our nation in general.
