When the PPP party was on the edge of becoming extinct and Dr. Jagan was about to disappear, into the political unknown, as a defeated politician. It was the ferocious campaigning of Kwayana and others that made a big difference and brought the PPP and Dr. Jagan back from ultimate defeat.
