Congrats to Suriname. It was a lifeline to Guyana during the dictatorship PNC days when Guyana has no food, oil and basic necessities. God bless Suriname.

I miss the onafhankelijkheids feest. Boi, lots of food, drinks, and sex.
The Surinamese are funny, they got independence from the Dutch and then turn around an elect a drug lord as their president. Reminds me of Marion Barry who was reelected to mayor of DC despite the video of him and his crack pipe.
The drug lord Bouterse was not elected through the ballot box. His party was 2nd in the election. But another couple of minority parties combined to create a coalition government. Bouterse was then made president.
He was elected president by parliament. hhahaah
On 19 July 2010, Bouterse was elected as President of Suriname with 36 of 50 parliament votes
Now the Surinamese suffer as they flee to Guyana to seek prosperity. ahahahah
You obviously didn't pay much attention to what I wrote instead of dragging some information from somewhere else. Mine is more reliable.
Bouterse was made president after several parties combined their MPs to create a coalition government. His party did not win an outright victory at the ballot box.
The people of Suriname are doing very well. And many Guyanese apply for citizenship there every month.
Obviously you dont' pay much attention to Guyanese news, how many Surinamese getting arrested for coming to Guyana and robbing people. Then they smuggle their farm products into Guyana and try to undersell the local farmers.
