Mits, you are probably aware that I don't eat Garlic and Onion. Dr. Dave is going advice, it is somewhat Vedic.
I would also like to add that if people reduce carbs or eat low carbs, it is very good for their health. I hardly ever eat rice or roti and always eat a low carb diet and have been very, very healthy.

Bai, you need to pay attention. Yujiji already posted his religious affiliation here. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it is because I too did not pay full attention.
Good stuff. Prashad puts garlic powder on his pizza every Friday. I don't know if that makes a difference.
Our next step must be getting our own independent sovereign country by peaceful means to keep our cultural identity for future generations.

I eat brown rice and cereals with high fibre and avoid fatty foods. Portions and balance diet are important. There are lots of health benefits from garlic and onion according to Ayurvedic gurus. It's not in the carbs. The vegetables are full with pesticides and will do more harm to you than food with carbs. Organic is a farce. Burnham had the right idea. Grow what you eat.

If it's Chinese garlic powder, you are most likely eating plastic. Make your own powder.

Dat is why Iman prepared my garden today and will plant in about a weeks time or so when the possibility of frost is over.
I try to buy organic as much as I can but I always have my doubts about how truly it is.
Read up on Carbs, it is important to have a balance. Papa Burnham did one good thing to encourage us eat what we grow. There are different variations of how people eat and to each his own.
Yugi, I do pay attention to Carbs, but more to calories and fibre. Because of my passion for music, I look for food for retention; I take almond and wall nuts with my cereals and oat meal at breakfast.
