Biden says he would 'beat the hell' out of Trump if in high school

Washington (CNN)Former Vice President Joe Biden said he would "beat the hell out of" President Donald Trump if they were in high school over his crude comments about women.

"When a guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, 'I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it' and then said, 'I made a mistake,'" Biden said Tuesday of Trump, according to video of the remarks posted on Facebook by the University of Miami College Democrats.

"They asked me would I like to debate this gentleman, and I said no. I said, 'If we were in high school, I'd take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,'" said Biden, getting laughter and applause from the crowd at the University of Miami.

Biden was referencing the "Access Hollywood" video that surfaced in 2016 in which Trump was heard making lewd comments about women. Trump issued an apology, calling his comments "locker room talk."

 

 

Biden said Tuesday, "I've been in a lot of locker rooms my whole life. I'm a pretty damn good athlete."

He added, "Any guy that talked that way was usually the fattest, ugliest S.O.B. in the room."

Biden's comments Tuesday were at rally for his "It's On Us" advocacy group that aims combat sexual assault on college campuses. The former vice president has made similar remarks before about Trump during the 2016 election.

"The press always ask me, 'Don't I wish I were debating him?' No, I wish we were in high school -- I could take him behind the gym. That's what I wish," Biden said then at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania for Hillary Clinton.

I deeply admire Joe and empathize with him for all he's been through. Saw him a few weeks ago on Capitol Hill and he looked great. Wonderful guy.

I do think Biden should refrain from making threats. He is in his 70s and should be able to express his disgust without the threats.

Trump is giving Ryan and McConnell ulcers. They can’t get by with him nor can they get by without him. Feeley may have added to their misery when he announced that the Republican base is where Trump is which means that they are screwed if they oppose him.

If the distractions continue, nothing meaningful will get done while Trump remains president.

While Joe Biden looks more stately than Trump. The Democratic party needs some younger candidates who can invigorate the younger populace.

Now you talking. The Democrats are the old people's party. The need to change or will stay in opposition for a while, Trump will govern for two terms and then another Republican will emerge and they will be in wilderness for a very long time.

Democrats reminds me of the PNC, young people need not apply. It is very sad to see them cheering the old man Joe. He false teeth might fall out.

Correction. The Republican Party is the old people party. The three youngest US Presidents are Kennedy, Clinton and Obama. Old people vote for that party. Young Millenniums are more progressive, inclusive and tolerant. Unfortunately they don't bother to vote. If that changes, the Republican party will continue to suffer voter support and will have to resort to gerrymandering (rigging) to secure enough votes to win. In fact, gerrymandering allowed Trump to win Pennsylvania. That gerrymandered map has been abolished and replaced by a proper district map.
