Yes, Yes I know this area.  I read elsewhere that the developer is Nand Persaud.  I think he is a rice miller from Berbice.  Now, US1.4 Billion is a lot of money.  Who is going to finance this project? Mr. Su ? His neighbor?  Talking about Mr. Su's neighbor: he should know this area quite well.  Will I buy a property in this development?  Absolutely not and I am not sure who will.  I previously described the area as buck crab land and it is true.  People from nearby villages pick up buck crabs there at certain times of the year when there is a full moon.  Where do buck crabs live?  Muddy terrain right?  That will tell you that this area is susceptible to flooding from a rising Atlantic.  It seems to me that the project was conceived by someone on a full moon night.  The sheer magnitude of the initiative makes it highly suspect.  But I am very conservative on financial matters and perhaps can't comprehend what is happening in Irfaan Ali's Dubai Guyana.  Talking about Irfaan Ali: his Pakuri egg production facility will be a few miles south of the US1.4 Billion city.  When I was a child I built sand castles on a beach in this area where people are now building castles in the sky .

i have lots of family in Mahaica. Ralph Ramkarran's family in Helena were advertising this Maraiko Bay City, i think they have shares in it

I don't know if Bharrat is involved in this project.  I remember the lady who was promoting it--she once cussed my mother because she didn't like something I wrote.  How is she related to Ralph?  I know Boysie was from the Mahaica area (Fairfield I think). I don't see how Maraiko could succeed. Do you think it has a chance?
