Georgetown student slashes wrist with razor blade â in suicide bid
A student from a secondary school in the City was, this morning, rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation after reportedly attempting suicide in the school.
INews understands that the student took a razor blade and slashed her wrist at least six times. Teachers at the school in Georgetown say the teen had threatened to take her own life.
It is understood that teachers were unable to get the blade from the student. She has been admitted to the hospital in a semi-conscious state.
