Moses was named Presidential candidate but still remains "Vice Chairman" of the AFC. There is some sense to all of this madness. You see, Rumjhaat knows that the AFC will be clobbered at the National Elections.

He then puts Moses neck on the block to deliver. Moses cannot deliver and hence he will be shoved aside as Rumjhaat becomes the Leader and Presidential Candidate at the next election.
