How to Become a Hindu:
1. The duties of a Hindu:
If you perform the duties of a Hindu, it does not mean you are a Hindu.
Hinduism prescribes eternal duties, such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings (ahimsa), patience, forbearance, self-restraint, and compassion, among others.
2. The beliefs of a Hindu:
Hindus believe in the doctrines of samsara (the continuous cycle of life, death, and reincarnation) and karma (the universal law of cause and effect). One of the key thoughts of Hinduism is βatman,β or the belief in the soul. This philosophy holds that living creatures have a soul, and they're all part of the supreme soul. Embracing the beliefs of a Hindu still does not make you a Hindu.
3. The Obligations of a Hindu.
This is what makes you a Hindu.
Dharma is linked to career choice, class, and family and encourages people to follow the 5 daily duties or debts. These are to worship God, study the scriptures, contemplate the wisdom of ancestors and elders, provide food for all beings in need, and serve guests with respect and love.
This will take a lifetime to complete and only after you die then people will say that man was a Hindu.
