That was a checkmate statement by the greatest of all time.

Because of that move by Ali the manufacturers of war changed the way it was manufactured and sold and then found a way to make it more personal to Americans.

 

I agree. When France decided to not join the coalition to invade Iraq in 2003, we began a campaign against anything French. People were told to boycott Target because it was French owned (many had no idea that it was French owned). We briefly stopped calling fries French fries and instead referred to it as freedom fries. We insulted the French by calling them cowards just like they were before we saved them at Normandy. Prior to the media being allowed near the war theater, yes we called it a theater, they had to go through a media boot camp. I surmised that it was to desensitize them to the true reality of the invasion. But most of all, we labeled the Iraqis as less than humans. I remember Beck's continuously saying that it was a festering ground for whatever was his topic that particular day. War is big business and those involved know that very well. And this is not only confined to us but to all around the world.

It is much more difficult to make peace than war.
