Whenever there are calls to condemn the PPP for wrongdoing. It seems as though our Indo colleagues cannot embrace the truth and say it with a straight face. I am ashamed that what has transpired on Monday in the National Assembly, that unfolds via video footage, some here are still in denial and rushing to the defense of the PPP.
Many of you neglected the Guyanese people's voice who has overall right to say what is true or false, right or wrong. I have listened to many interviews, video clips, and newspaper reading just to find out that Priya Manickchand is a big, fat liar.
Only two years ago the PPP lost to the coalition government. After two short years, most of you are beating your chests to have them back, unconditionally. I am not discounting the good the PPP has done to put Guyana back on its feet. But let's not forget the wrongs they have done and continue to do so as we speak. Rushing to judgment and willing to forgive sets a bad precedent for any leader, especially one that has been tainted with lies and corruptions in the past.
I don't want to spoil your PPP fantasy to bring them back into the folds and hollering to let them go after two years like the coalition government. If you're NOT willing to be truthful and recognized government failures to speak up when you must, you are undemocratic. If you FAILED to tell your leader that he/she must embrace all the people as one, you're supporting a racist government. If you FAILED to make your leader accountable for holding the highest office in your country, you wasted your vote.
If you live and think like a coolie, you will never go past the coolie in you. Food for thoughts.
