I think we would all agree that President Granger inherited a lot of weighty issues

– additionally, other serious challenges fell into his lap immediately after being elected. These problems all require the support of the Guyanese, especially his constituents, if they are to be resolved.

Unfortunately many of the President’ s core supporters are exhibiting early frustration and complain that they are starting to see a tone deaf administration – one that marches to their own beat and ignores the cries of the voters. We’ve seen flare ups in the Linden and Bartica communities.

And some areas within region 4 (Albouystown) are complaining that the administration has neglected them while scrambling to appease PPP supporters, namely sugar workers.

Unless President Granger intends to lead his party into a one term presidency, it would be prudent for him to pay attention to his constituency.

What did blacks get out of the PPP?  They will tell you NOTHING!

The ones who benefitted from the PPP were a narrow band of Indo elites and its only the foolish who believe otherwise.  Even grass roots Indians know this.

I suggest that Granger figure out how to outreach and assist PPP supporters, whilst not giving his base a notion that they are being taken for granted.  After all a major % of the support which he received came from alienated people who had stopped voting.  They might resume not voting in 2020 if they feel that they have been ignored.

No party in Guyana will win if its base feels alienated, or if it rallies only  an ethnic vote.  THAT is the challenge which Granger has, and its not obvious that by 2020 the AFC will be of much help.  There is no evidence that the AFC has a large base of its own.  They will be seen as part of an APNU dominated regime, so will sink or swim as APNU does,

Billions of dollars were poured in the development of LINDEN so that the people can enjoy the essence of life once again.

All villages were given electricity. New roads were built.  They got lots to eat after Burnham banned the importation of foodstuff.   Don't talk about blacks didn't get anything out the PPP.  They got more than the Indians ever received.

Assuming that's the case,

The results:

1. Blacks still voted 99pc against the PPP.

2. The Indians voted Granger since ayuh give them katahar.

I wonder if APNU is going to neglect Black people to "appease" Indians. I strongly doubt that. APNU will take care of their own. As they should.

Blacks are always ungrateful.  They always voted race and accused the Indians of voting race.

So WTF do you want from the Indians since they can only expect katahar from the PPP?

Then WTF do we need the PPP in power for then? To admire their pretty faces?

Poignant observations.

It is just two months into the new regime and thus far lots of mishaps and mishandlings of issues are evident.

1.  No village was GIVEN electricity.  They have to pay for it.  Blacks also pay taxes, so if black villages gained access to electrity that they have to pay for then they are owed this as taxpayers.

2.  Linden remains in bad shape.  Exactly what projects did the PPP develop to offset the severe damage done to that town when the Chinese laid off thousands of workers?

I suggest that you speak for yourself as there is ample poverty within the Indian population.

Rama its people like you who are responsible for the PPP being in the opposition.  How come you all are so stupid that you let the "low IQ" blacks beat you?
