An emotional Brumell, who has been acting in the post for almost two years, was sworn in by President Donald Ramotar at the Office of the President yesterday.

Brummel is a pnc/afc agent who has mismanaged the police force like all his predecessors. There is no accountability from his direct and indirect reports. The police don't show up at crime scenes or don't bother to arrest known bandits and Brummel does nothing.

If you cannot manage you should not take the job...plain and simple. However in a system that supplants merit with cronyism and kith and kin hiring practices, you get what you ordered....waste people most of the time.
