Dummy, if you are now appealing to mob psychology why blame the AFC and APNU? Is not mob psychology a consequence of averse triggers that initiate the urge to collective power to act? Go read a book dunce.

AFC needs to shoulder some responsibility. They started the fiasco with organizing protests and civil unrest over a non issue.

To you it is a non issue. To a pensioner recieving 10000 G a month and having to pay12000 leaving them in the hole to 2000 that is a big deal. Where are they making up the rest?

This is the danger when these guys are far removed from the scene. They know all sitting in front of their computers.

 So what, 153 million miles is robot acting as an extension of our senses probing an alien world. Why can we not sit 2 thousand miles and less than a light second and observe a world where confirmation can be ascertained by other humans there?

Nope, its not the same as the robot. Linden is a live scene and emotions continue to run high. What possible confirmation can be ascertained by you with your biases?  

Stormy is following people who are out to take revenge on the PPP over an internal party issue regarding how the presidential candidate should be determined. Two weeks prior to the elections Moses spoke in glowing terms of the PPP. No mention of corrutpion or personal attacks on the former president. After the presidential for the PPP was announced Moses went on tirade against the PPP. All about getting back. It's not about bringing democracy or putting Guyana on a path of economic growth.  Both of those objectives have been accomplished.

 

 

THe planet Mars is an alien world with eventualities of no historical precedent. Linden is one of a hundred million events where humans contest oppression an authorities overstepped their hand further  inflaming local animosities and compunction to vent.

 

By biases are well founded. In dealing with the sons of scorpions and vipers one bust approach at arms length.

The joint opposition can't escape blame for what transpired in Linden....known political figures were seen instigating the crowd of protesters.

The acts of the protesters had pushed Linden development back a decade.

Good, now they can make sure "development" is not  defined in terms of a leech crew as timber companies. Hopefully, the people will be part owner and deciders in whatever is to come.

The residents are being fed with false propaganda by opponents of the state, that the govt has to mine them and pay their bills

"False propaganda"  is "truth" dummy. Get a grip of your use of language. You are spreading propaganda that we have a welfare state. Linden tarif differential is mainly accounting rather than real. Tell us from where the money for any subsidy comes and to whom it is paid.

 

In this case you should be advocating for subsidy to that pensioner rather than the entire town of Linden. Just as they do in the US where govt subsidizes those in need  directly through the power companies. But you being a hypocrite can not concede this but would rather mo fiah slow fiah.

Put it this way if the protesters were not murdered the "mob" wouldnt have become so angry that they would shoot themselves in their own foot by destroying their own institutions.

 

Glad that you admit that angry mobs do irrational things when they feel threatened by the authorities.

 

Had Ramotar gone ASAP, either that day, or very early the next the mob would have been pacified much sooner.

 

Jagdeo and Burnham were monsters, but both of them, and Cheddi  (he wasnt a monster its his wife who was), would have gone to Linden, knowing the mentality of grass roots Guyanese people.

 

So whats wrong with Ramotar?

If known instigators were seen encouraging the burning of property or robberies then they should be ARRESTED.  No arrests though.  How come if you all are so clear in what these "known poitical figures" were up to.

 

In a democracy organizing a protests is not a crime.  It is only a crime in a dictatorship.  Is Ramotar a dictator? 

Sugrim some of us so far away know more than you do.  Why?  because when you folks visit us from Guyana you feel freer to tell the truth.  Based on this I correctly forecasted the election.  When you all boasted that the PPP would win with 60%, I predicted a PPP victory, but with 48%.  Both the PPP and the AFC posters were quite angry with me.

 

 

1.  I knew that the AFC was not going to do well and that they would lose much of their urban base.  As a result the notion that they would replace the PNC as the main opposition was quite hilarious.

 

2.  I knew that the boasts of the PPP that they would win over a large chunk of the African/mixed vote was a joke and that they would get a solid thrashing in Linden, and definitely in G/twn.  This was even as APNU was struggling to get its campaign on the way, held back by internal divisions within the PNC and a serios shaortage of funds.  If a dog or a pig ran as the APNU candidate they still would have thrashed the PPP in majorityAfrican/mixed areas.

 

 

You lack the intellectual capacity to discuss the politican environment in Guyana and that is quite visible with your shallow posts.   You are unable to counter points made by me, redux and stormborn.
