The opposition can give the PPP a run for their money if the PNC offers an apology, they have a good chance of winning a free and fair election.

Granger conducts and carries himself like a true statesman despite his past association with the Burnham/Hoyte dictatorship era. He is a mature politician and has indicated that he is interested in a party of national unity.

I like what I hear from Granger. I am beginning to like Granger due to the fact that he carries himself in a professional manner and looks presidential.

What is the PNC waiting for ?

the ppp can stop being a minority if bar-rat apology to the guyanese people and the ppp start charging people for corruption and this is the same party is asking the pnc to do what

Show how the PNC can raise the people's work skills and stay within budget while you make these investments. Show how you can encourage the right type of overseas partnerships and investments. Casinos, hotels and the like are not sustaining investments with lateral positives.

The PPP has had 22 years to bring Guyana out from a dependency economy and quite frankly it is still the same economy structurally since the 80s.

And yes this is what the PNC should do. It raises the debate beyond the endless Guyanese confrontation about which race did what to whom because BOTH RACES HAVE BEEN GUILTY!!!!''

Guyana has the same economy that it had when our PARENTS were going to school 60+ years ago.

And in addition to telling they need to LISTEN to the people. Ask them how do they think that the govt can HELP them HELP THEMSELVES.

What is seriously lacking in Guyana is a bottom up approach to govt, which is why our cities are so nasty and people don't see that they have as much a role to play as does the govt in maintaining things.

So APNU should not only encourage this but begin to implement thus be seeing themselves as a PARTNER and not as a BOSS telling people what they plan to do.

Bharat/Donald apologizing is just as ridiculous as Granger doing this.

Now what the PPP can do is send appropriate people to jail for corruption, and re negotiate some of the fraudulent deals, like Marriott, Amaila Falls, and the Berbice bridge.

Moses was the first nomination and he was flatly rejected by the PNC.

Same old PNC.

Why you do not haul you racist ass?

If the majority in the Executive of the PPP is Indos, why can't the majority in Parlaiment be Afros?

The PNC is a racist party.  it is all for the afro-Guyanese.  But Guyana got two more significant races along with the mixed.

PNC not interested in them.

LOOK at the PNC leadership.  - HAMMIE, Carbin, etc etc.

Most mixed vote PNC.  Africans are around 32%  of the voters, not all supporting the PNC for them to get 41% some one else must be supporting them. We know it isn't Indians, and not enough Amerindians support them to make up for the gap. So obviously the majority of mixed voters support the PNC.

Any way given that the PPP is equally racist, why have a problem saying so?
